Reality is <br />Ugly <br />Like the evil inside <br /> <br />But reality is <br />What keeps us real <br /> <br />Ironic isn't it <br />We try to escape <br />Reality <br />But reality comes and finds <br />Us in the places that <br />We think are safe <br />From these truths <br /> <br />Inconvenience takes <br />Our freedom <br />Or does it? <br />Or <br />Are we inconvenient <br />In and of ourselves? <br /> <br />In our culture we <br />Kill because we want <br />Everything to be convenient <br />Why must someone <br />Loose their life for <br />Our stupid gain <br /> <br />Look around at the <br />State of this earth <br />There is nothing left <br />To share because we all <br />Want it for ourselves <br /> <br />We rip it from the hands <br />Of those dying <br />Those struggling to <br />Keep a grip on reality <br />Those who have no choice <br />Those without a voice <br /> <br />They say freedom isn't free <br /> <br />Well I guess I can <br />Agree with that <br />Because <br /> <br />We take each others freedom <br />And do with it what ever we want <br /> <br />I pray that this will end soon <br />Because dying from someone <br />Else's choice is not <br />A good reason at all <br /> <br />But the one thing <br />I have to look forward to <br />Is spending eternity <br />With the one Man <br />Who made the right choice <br />And saved my life <br />As undeserving as I am <br />So that stupid little <br />You and me wouldn't <br />Have to die from <br />Someone else's choice<br /><br />The Dreamers Movement<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/reality-check-yourself/
