Here is the third part of this series, the trend being seriously down rather than up! <br /> <br />It was one of those days when the looking glass said, <br />'You look as if you would be better off dead! ' <br />My clothes were revolting ('We WON'T go to work! ') <br />and my hair overnight had gone quietly berserk. <br />Outside the window the streets were all icy... <br />(the mirror said, 'Driving will surely be dicy! ') <br />But I must - and I'm torn between duvet and duty... <br />(the bed calls me back in a voice warm and fruity) <br />I swallow, I gulp... is my throat getting sore? <br />(the mirror says 'Don't you step foot out the door! ') <br />Perhaps I am ill!
