I wrote you a poem <br />on the back of this envelope <br />just like a real poet. <br />I brought out <br />my inner thoughts <br />about you and me. <br />I rhymed love <br />with heaven above. <br />I rhymed heart <br />with never to part <br />and Valentine <br />with always mine <br />. <br />It wasn’t a good poem <br />but it was clean <br />and I avoided <br />rhyming bed <br />with head.<br /><br />Janice Windle<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/valentine-32/
