Time goes by fast <br />Throughout time we crash <br />Other times we laugh <br />In the end we pray that our lives will last..... <br /> <br />Tomorrow has not yet come <br />We never know when our time is done <br />This may be a shock <br />To those who run on their own time clock..... <br /> <br />We want things to change <br />When we are the one's who stay the same <br />We don't think about the time <br />That can easly be exchanged..... <br /> <br />The sun may not shine tomorrow <br />Some shelter themselves in sorrow <br />We should live everyday to the fullest <br />The truth is that our lives are borrowed..... <br /> <br />We need to learn to embrace <br />The things which lie in our face <br />The things we take for granted <br />We do not know how much time we have been handed.... <br /> <br />As I go to sleep <br />I'll remind myself to wake <br />I know i'm not on my own time <br />This precious time is not mine to waste....<br /><br />Andrea Healy<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/wasted-time-5/
