Two kids were in love, but it wasn't gonna last. <br />The girl moved away, a hell of a lot too fast. <br />She never got to say goodbye, he never saw her again. <br />And even though she was so young, she felt such terrible pain. <br /> <br />The boy felt it too, but kept it in his heart. <br />She knew she was hurting, she was falling apart. <br />He was breaking too, and he didn't know how to deal. <br />No matter what people said, she knew what she felt was real. <br /> <br />He dreamt about her for many years, she cried every night. <br />He never stopped loving her; she didn't give up the fight. <br />He said it would be okay, she said she couldn't live. <br />He said not without her, she said something has gotta give. <br /> <br />Two more years went by, and it all stayed the same. <br />He still saw her in his dreams, she still heard his name. <br />Then one day while eating dinner, she heard the news say, <br />'A young boy, age 15, died of cancer today'. <br /> <br />As his picture came onscreen, she turned and saw his face. <br />The boy, who she had loved for years, was no longer in this place. <br />And with tears pouring down her cheeks, she realised it was fate. <br />She had searched for this boy, and found him too late. <br /> <br />Exactly one year later, on the very day he died, <br />She laid in the bathtub and drowned in the tears she cried. <br />When they met in heaven, they cried a thousand tears. <br />They sat down and spoke about all those stolen years. <br /> <br />He said, 'I couldn't live without you', She said, 'I've loved you since that first day'. <br />He said, 'I died without you', She said, 'It wasn't meant to be this way'. <br />'Why couldn't we have stayed together, instead of having broken hearts?
