Sitting by the window slab <br />Peeped inside the sweet garden! <br />Morning star warming up <br />Gentle breeze making the tilt <br />Flowers swaying in harmonious unison <br />Leaves saying amen all along <br />Spraying small dewdrops, precious possession! <br />Earth grappled that precious nectar! <br />Complimenting with the pleasant smell! <br />Small bees thronging the petals <br />Sucking the honey as mission of life <br />Miniscule portion brimming out <br />Their lovers catching that blessed spill <br />Feeling to die that very same moment <br />To cast their lots as immortals! <br />Pulled my eyes from vision eternal <br />Thrust myself in daily hard chores! <br />Dusk and dawn as usual <br />Turned again to beauty evergreen <br />Lots of leaves strewn all over <br />Forming a bed for flowers to rest <br />A purpose for leaves also! <br />Not only in life but in death also! <br />Started searching the slot for me! <br /> <br />13.04.2008<br /><br />rajagopal haran<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/194-withered-leaves/
