I look into the mirror like every morning <br />But today my reflection is different <br />There is this black fog that surrounds me <br />The mirror starts to crack and snap <br />The glass shards start to brake off <br />I look at my face and it had turned black <br />There is the demon that has entered my body <br />I feel the power of the world <br />I feel like I can do any thing <br />I started walking but I am suck in the black fog <br /> The reflection was grinning at me <br />There was a shiver that went down my spine <br />I ask myself want did I do to get this <br />There my worst fear relived in my mind <br />Is this the day my grandfather died <br />There was sadness in the blackened fog <br />There is the emptiness that filled me <br />I said why is there me in the world <br />When I sad that the mirror exploded with huge force <br />Next thing I hear is my mom saying wake up <br />I some how wake up and see that it was a dream <br />I was walking to school and saw a black cat <br />I love black cats they bring me luck <br />I still feel he black fog is still around me <br />I go to the breakfast table were my friends are <br />They see that I am troubled <br />They ask me what is wrong <br /> I only say one thing <br />Happy Friday <br />The 13th<br /><br />Thomas Henderson<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/shattered-mirror-the-dream/
