What do you see when you look into my eyes? <br />Do you see these tears that I've hidden? <br />Even though I've cried a million tears <br />There is still tears behind my eyes <br /> <br />Waiting to fall <br />But I want to be strong <br />Not letting these emotions show <br />But I can't control these tears <br /> <br />Cause slowly they steadily start to fall <br />And the next thing I know <br />I am crying myself to sleep <br />Dreaming my life away <br /> <br />Cause there is no where else I'd rather be <br />Then be in my dream world <br />Dreaming of the life I want <br />Cause there is too much pain in this world I'm living in <br /> <br />In the real world there is no where to run to <br />No where to escape this place <br />No one to lean on <br />But in dream world I can be anyone and go anywhere <br /> <br />And when I am in dream world <br />I don't ever want to wake up <br />Cause I feel so alive <br />And I feel like that's where I want to be <br /> <br />And all the pain and tears I cry <br />They don't mean anything <br />These scars tell a story <br />But you don't need to know it <br /> <br />You'll say things that I don't need to hear <br />You see these tears fall <br />Then immediately think somethings wrong <br />Even though you don't care about me when these tears don't fall <br /> <br />You don't feel this pain I'm feeling <br />You don't see why I cry <br />Thanks to you <br />You are part of this pain <br /> <br />That's why I wish this life was a dream <br />So I could wake up and not dread a single day <br />I could actually walk around with a smile on my face <br />And it would actually be real and not fake <br /> <br />Wouldn't be nice if you knew how I felt <br />But you would still act the same <br />Cause you never been through this <br />So you will never know why I cry or feel this pain I'm feeling<br /><br />ESPN CHICK<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/tears-and-pain/
