March 1,2013 <br /> <br />Another sleepless night, pain piled up a mile high <br />I'm lying here just trying not to cry <br />Those two little scars, I see them and I want more <br />But I got to be strong and stay away <br /> <br /> <br />I promise I'm okay, no need to worry <br />Fighting this battle for years now <br />I've learned a lot but I'm still walking through these storms <br />They don't ever seem to go away <br /> <br />These aches and pains are more real then anyone will ever know <br />If I would die before tomorrow <br />I just want everyone to know <br />These walls were carefully built, I didn't want no one to know how I really felt <br /> <br />I've strive for so long to be the girl I thought I wanted to be <br />But in reality I was never who I wanted to be <br />Never thought I'd be this lonely, although I'd love being alone <br />Pain is bolting from head to toe and all I want to do is scream <br /> <br />If only the silence wasn't too loud <br />But I know in the end no one would care if I'd scream my lungs out <br />It's another sleepless night <br />With the pain piled up so high <br /> <br />The pain is wrapped around me so tight <br />I can't move, I can barely even breathe <br />I try not to cry unless I'm alone <br />I don't want anyone to think I'm weak <br /> <br />I've been through hell and back and I'm stronger than anyone thinks <br />It's 1 am and it's another sleepless night <br />I've been tossing and turning wishing my life away <br />Because this pain doesn't seem to go away, it follows me everywhere I am <br /> <br />The fake smiles I put on <br />Pretending is all I've ever known <br />Its just another day with pain <br />I'll go on covering up my lies and smile like I mean it <br /> <br />These sleepless nights are killing me now <br />If only I could block this pain but it's more real then you'll ever know <br />So if it kills me don't cry because I'm better off <br />I've dealt with it for so long but I'm gonna continue to hide it for as long as I can<br /><br />ESPN CHICK<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/another-sleepless-night-9/
