For the longest time, all I felt was numb inside. <br />I woken up to a dream, that just made me realized.. <br />All the things I took for granted.. <br /> <br />I woke up in sweat, in tears, why? <br />I dont even kno.. <br />Its was like I had to get my emotions out, <br />for the years I kept it all in. <br /> <br />I sat up in bed, with the same dream in mind, <br />I had no idea, but I started to cry. <br />It wasnt sad, Its just a divorce. <br /> <br />But that dream, felt so real. <br /> <br />With my dad, just like old times. <br />Watchin football, or movies at home. <br />Playin card games, actin a fool. <br />Then out of no where, <br />My mom calls.. <br />With a gently voice I heard.. <br />She talks sweet and kind.. <br />the second my dad hear, <br />you knew he wanted to melt inside, <br />go into a shell, and hide. <br /> <br />He cried, just as he did, <br />when we called me all those nights. <br /> <br />I sat in bed, in my tears.. <br />askin myself, <br />What is wrong with me... <br />never bothered me before, <br />why now?<br /><br />Dislocated Heart<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/dream-in-tears/
