On a hot summer day, <br />a family went to the sea-side at a bay, <br />where the 2 kids in shallow water happily played. <br />Then a sudden ebbing waves washed the kids farther away. <br />They lost the balance and started to sway. <br />They screamed in panic, ' help, help, help' <br />The father heard and to them, he rapidly dashed. <br />From the deep water, to the shore he pushed the kids back. <br /> <br />Then another big wave pulled him farther deep, <br />where he was drowned and could not breathe. <br />Then the life-guards pulled him back to the shore. <br />It was the dead body which they saw. <br />He was given CPR......so vigorous. <br />At last he was pronounced dead, as no reviving result. <br /> <br />Later it was learned that he did not know how to swim. <br />But he did know how to protect and save his kids from a situation..so grim. <br /> <br />(based on true story) 8th month,8th day ie 88 sounds Papa in chinese so this day is celebrated in Chinese Community as Father Day.<br /><br />U Win Kyi<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/father-s-day-1-a-father-s-instinct-saved-his-kids-from-drowning/
