I have never wanted anyone as much as I did you today. <br />It was in your eyes, in the way <br />you half blushed, lips curling then scared, I looked away, <br />then turned to meet your electric gaze. <br />I wanted to rip the gi right off your body and take <br />your hand and lead you astray and make <br />you shout, shout, scream, weep, pray. <br />Your cheeks- so perfect, even when bruised and your hands <br />like cymbals, like anvils, and those strands <br />of your hair that crept down your forehead. <br />All I could think about was how it would feel to <br />hold you. <br /> <br />I have never wanted anyone as much as I did you today. <br />When you lay, or sat, or stood, jumped, dodged, feinted, <br />kicked, punched, blocked, and won <br />all I could think about was how it would feel to <br />have you. <br />When you smiled, and oh, you smiled, <br />and spoke to me in whispers light, lilting, mild, <br />all I could think about was how it would feel <br />to kiss you.
