Since man first saw the rising sun <br />Till all the world’s on fire <br />No angel’s ever had more fun <br />No human more desire <br /> <br />More than enthralled excited alive <br />Vibrant with joy galore <br />What could hinder a soul to thrive? <br />This side of Heaven’s Door <br /> <br />There’s much in life I’m sorry for <br />So much for just a thrill <br />But through God’s Son I’m more than sure <br />I’m in my Father’s will <br /> <br />Though still I’m destined once to die <br />To rest with those of old <br />I’ll rise beyond where eagles fly <br />And enter Heaven’s fold <br /> <br />Who but a child can understand? <br />Who but a sick soul healed? <br />Without the touch of love’s fair hand <br />Without The Truth revealed <br /> <br />Without the facts of Heaven’s Son <br />The King enthroned on high <br />Without life’s battles fought and won <br />And still afraid to die <br /> <br />But more than blessed than man should be <br />Before the end’s in sight <br />Salvation gives us eyes to see <br />And Heaven’s Gift of Light <br /> <br />By grace of God through selfless love <br />Obedience divine <br />Through Christ God’s Lamb risen above <br />Eternal life is mine<br /><br />Michael P.
