Tears falling down <br />A broken heart bleeds. <br />Once again he wasn’t the one <br />To fulfill her needs. <br />He lead her on <br />Like it was just a game, <br />He didn’t think of her, <br />It’s all the same. <br />Trust is hard, <br />It’s always been. <br />He didn’t help her, <br />It happened again. <br />He told her she meant something, <br />She believed his lies, <br />And now I’m the one <br />Hating the pain in her eyes. <br />I’m the one who’s in the dark, <br />I just can’t understand, <br />Why she would let him back in, <br />And get buried in the sand. <br />She waited for so long <br />Only to be let down, <br />How can she look at him <br />With a smile, not a frown? <br /> <br />Tears falling down <br />My broken heart bleeds. <br />I wish I could be the one <br />To wash away his dirty deeds. <br />I wish I could do something <br />To hide the pain in her eyes, <br />I wish I knew a way <br />To erase his lies. <br />But I guess she doesn’t need me, <br />She can handle this on her own, <br />I don’t know what to do, <br />The seed’s already been sown. <br />It’s now up to her, <br />What to do, <br />I just wish there was a way <br />To turn her gray skies blue. <br />But I guess I’ll just bow out gracefully, <br />I guess it’s just too late, <br />Hopefully someday she’ll realize <br />It’s better just to wait.<br /><br />beautiful imperfection<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/tears-falling-down/
