I woke up today with a dominating urge <br />to pack my suitcase, get my cds and my purse <br />I'm going to drive, drive, drive <br />but it's not like I want to leave it all behind <br />it was just a feeling I had to follow <br />Don't even know where I'll end up tomorrow <br />All I know is what I feel <br />and today I want to stay behind the wheel <br />Roll the window down, feel the rain <br />on my fingertips, yeah, I'm feeling no pain <br />watch the sunset on the horizon <br />the road is my yoga mat, my meditation <br />Grab a tea and sip it slowly <br />No traffic, nothing to slow me <br />No specific destination, just drive along <br />watch the stars appear, listening to my favourite song<br /><br />Caroline Guedes<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/drive-13/
