you smile at me <br />you can tell it is fake <br />i smile back <br />you just give me a shake <br /> <br />no hug no kiss <br />no saying 'i was thinking of you' <br />just smile at me <br />and i said i love you <br /> <br />he said 'yeh me too' <br />i look down <br />he looks at me <br />with a big frown <br /> <br />he asks me 'whats wrong? ' <br />i smile and say 'nothing' <br />he like 'ok whatever' <br />and say something <br /> <br />i walk behind him <br />he dosent hold my hand <br />i see a couple <br />huggin kissin hand in hand <br /> <br />a tear down my face <br />but he dosent notice <br />as i wipe it off <br />i see a pond and a lotus <br /> <br />i see how alone it is <br />just like me <br />i try to grab it <br />but its too far from me <br /> <br />someone comes from behind me <br />gives a helping hand <br />i know its the hand of my lover <br />smiling at me looking glad <br /> <br />and then he says 'baby' <br />'it isnt working out' <br />i felt like killing my self <br />or have a great big shout <br /> <br />i look at him <br />with his fake smiles <br />but i knew <br />then i look at the time on the parks sun dial <br /> <br />i run away <br />run to my apartment <br />lock my doors <br />sat down in a corner on the carpet <br /> <br />i scream and i shout <br />but no one here to comfort me <br />i cry and cry <br />my tears so bloody..........<br /><br />amsal khan<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/heart-broken-19/
