As the sun sets down, and, <br />The light fades off, a fear sets in, <br />A fear unknown, <br />A fear uncalled; <br />For, <br />Something's there, <br />Which my mind tries to find, <br />A pain maybe; or a deep old scar? <br /> <br />I fumble hard, to find, <br />An answer to my thoughts. <br />What is that I search for? <br />Why is that I'm scared? <br />A tear, <br />Trickles down, <br />In the midst of my thoughts; a stark reminder, <br />Of a past full of falls. <br /> <br />The sky gets darker, the heavens, <br />Light up; but I ain't in heaven! <br />I haven't got a hope. <br />The day's come to an end, but, <br />The night, <br />Has just begun. <br />A cruel, hard night, as I see it, <br />For now, I scramble hard, <br />To hold, the failing will. <br /> <br />As the night draws in, I, <br />Summon all my strengths, for, <br />I need to fight, <br />The deamons of my soul. <br />Easy, <br />It is not, as my life is at stake, <br />But I wont give in, I aint, <br />The one, who would lose. <br /> <br />Darkness spreads out fast, killing, <br />Any light, and, the battle begins, <br />Of my 'OWN' with my 'SELF'. <br />For now I am, a warrior of the night, <br />Fighting my own thoughts, burning the fears. <br /> <br />Battle wages on, wounds dig in deep, but, <br />I know, for sure that, <br />The night's gonna end; <br />Till then, it is, a dream, <br />To find some light; and, <br />Till then, I am, <br />A self lost in night....<br /><br />kaavyaa kriday<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/the-self-lost-in-night/
