here i stand <br />facing these inquisitive faces <br />searching me top to bottom <br />giggling, sniggering, wobbling <br />a pair of twenty eyes <br /> <br />i look left and right <br />as if asking for help <br />but then i realise <br />i better help myself <br /> <br />suddenly a gentle man stood up <br />walked to me and then <br />peered closely at me <br /> an intimate glance <br />the whole class giggled again <br /> <br />it then struck me what was to be done <br />i pushed the boy a liitle away <br />and then stared hard <br /> at him below his belt <br /> <br />the boy blushed <br />looked down <br />did not mutter a sorry <br />but did go back to his place <br />as i heaved a sigh of relief. <br /> <br />down and then up <br />trying to avoid direct eyes <br />then i smiled and said <br />aren't we here together <br />you and i aren't we to help each other <br /> <br />allow me to be myself <br />i shall help you to find yourself.<br /><br />sreelekha premjit<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/teacher-s-take/
