Salvation is a love affair <br />A covenant of blood <br />God reaching out with man to share <br />But few have understood <br /> <br /> <br />For who sees Jesus Christ divine <br />Who does His perfect will <br />We treat His blood like common wine <br />Just good enough to spill <br /> <br /> <br />Yet mercy is the fruit of love <br />God’s gift to one and all <br />If when to Him we turn above <br />And seek Him when we fall <br /> <br /> <br />We’ll know to whom the Wind has blown <br />To whom God’s Spirit’s sent <br />For mercy heals when love is shown <br />When contrite hearts repent <br /> <br /> <br />God pours His grace like morning dew <br />Life’s Truth becomes so plain <br />Our lives become as though brand new <br />Through Christ we’re born again <br /> <br /> <br />Mercy’s the fruit, of love divine <br />Of this there is no doubt <br />I praise the Lord such grace is mine <br />What hope has man, without <br /> <br /> <br />God’s love is true His mercy’s real <br />We see it every day <br />So who know how the Lord must feel <br />To see it thrown away <br /> <br /> <br />We must be true from this day on <br />Our every sin confess <br />Have faith in God and in His Son <br />True love won’t stand for less.<br /><br />Michael P.
