One moment Lord without You <br />Would leave me feeling sad <br />Could lead to things I shouldn’t do <br />And make the devil glad <br /> <br />One moment left without Your love <br />Would leave me in despair <br />Could leave the thought Life’s Way above <br />Was mine no more to share <br /> <br />One moment left without You <br />I know I’d truly hate <br />The world could change my distant view <br />And love would dissipate <br /> <br />One moment’s sounds ten million years <br />Of misery and dread <br />Lonely till Your cloud appears <br />To raise me from the dead <br /> <br />The thought my God brings sorrow <br />Brings pain I’ve never known <br />Just thinking of tomorrow <br />Before the judgement throne <br /> <br />Please go nowhere without me <br />Take firm Your servant’s hand <br />Remain my God that I may see <br />And dwell Your Promised Land <br /> <br />Remain my God and never leave <br />Relieve me of my fears <br />Without Your love I’d ever grieve <br />Whilst shedding countless tears <br /> <br />One moment Lord, how could I stand? <br />How could I smile again? <br />Without us walking hand in hand <br />Would make my life in vain<br /><br />Michael P.
