C J he is a worrier he is in a mental mess <br />He worries over little things his life is ruled by stress, <br />He is only in his early thirties and his hair is silver gray <br />And that he looks twenty years older it would be fair to say. <br /> <br />C J's wife Rosie left him for the forty seven years old Stan <br />And though he is years older she says he is a younger looking man <br />Than the sad and boring C J a man still in his prime <br />One who has not laughed or smiled for years and worries all of the time. <br /> <br />He did not know how to laugh or smile and apart they had grown <br />And with her lives their seven years old son and C J lives on his own <br />He feels angry with the World and angry with his ex wife <br />But she has found her own happines and one might say that's life. <br /> <br />C J is a Uni Professor with a maths and science degree <br />And few as well educated or as intelligent as he <br />But 'twould seem a ton of worries he carries on his back <br />And if he could force himself to smile his face would surely crack <br /> <br />That his wife left him for an older man is hurtful for C J <br />But such is life and such things happen in life every day <br />Thirty one on his birthday in March his hair is silver gray <br />And his ex Rosie happy with Stan and with Stan she will stay.<br /><br />Francis Duggan<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/c-j/
