At least eight Pakistani fighter jets launched airstrikes against militant hideouts in Dehgan area of Miranshah in North Waziristan on early Sunday morning, killing more than 150 Uzbek militants. <br />The strikes targeted eight hideouts of Uzbek militants in Dehgan, a remote village near Pak-Afghan border. <br />"The strikes were carried out based on confirmed reports about the presence of Uzbek and other militants in the area," an official said. <br />According to sources, Uzbek militant commander and mastermind of Karachi airport attack, Abu Rehman, was also killed during Sunday’s air strikes. Abu Rehman was also involved in Bannu Jail attack.
