So many memories in our minds <br />As we stroll down life’s trails <br />Some are short and uneventful <br />Others there are mysteries unveiled <br /> <br />There is beauty along those trails <br />Some stay tucked in our minds <br />And others more easily forgotten <br />The unhappy ones I find <br /> <br />Folks we’ve met and passed on by <br />Leave a glimmer of recognition <br />As we go to the next chapter <br />There is only a small recollection <br /> <br />And other folks have left their print <br />Behind them when they leave <br />We think of them from time to time <br />With some folks we even grieve <br /> <br />But life is so exciting, I think <br />As we stroll with husband or wife <br />Because we have so many memories <br />As we travel those trails of life!<br /><br />Marilyn Lott<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/trails-of-life-2/
