It never rains but that it pours <br />Most eyes see fear and dread <br />To fools this life shuts tight its doors <br />Until the day they’re dead <br /> <br /> <br />Though mouths cry out both night and day <br />Though eyes cry bitter tears <br />Yet few seek Christ life’s only way <br />To vanquish doubts and fears <br /> <br /> <br />Though mouths may utter sweet remorse <br />Though eyes may seek release <br />The world seeks yet the devil’s course <br />And finds thereby no peace <br /> <br /> <br />True peace is found on one small road <br />Upon a blood soaked hill <br />Where each can lay their heavy load <br />And drink of truth their fill <br /> <br /> <br />But man’s so wise so full of pride <br />We choose the songs we sing <br />But if God’s Son is not inside <br />What will our harvest bring <br /> <br /> <br />How does man see Salvation’s plan <br />Why should He even care <br />Why would God die to save a man <br />Who fails to see He’s there <br /> <br /> <br />While many seek their ivory towers <br />A few seek Christ above <br />The Father’s thoughts are not as ours <br />His righteous heart’s full love <br /> <br /> <br />Let wisdom seek The Higher ground <br />Be rid of worldly shame <br />Make sure in Christ you’re truly found <br />When God calls out your name<br /><br />Michael P.
