Cait Whisler - Death Deals the Devil

2014-06-15 2 Dailymotion

When the sun goes down I wander the earth,
A cold and imitating face.
Humans fear my very glance and
tremble at the mere thought of me.
They go cold and freeze in their places,
Only to be torn down and taken by my hand.
I do not eat, I do not sleep, and when I come for you,
I will receive your scream. A scream, as small as it may be,
will keep me going. The screams in the dead of the night
makes my laughter grow stronger. The demons that help to carry
human bodies will never grow weary. To their amusement they watch the struggle of a human near death, which is falling to a fiery death, to burn in Hell for all eternity. I wander the earth when the sun goes down, but when it raises I am cast away. I retreat to my darkness, where the light can never reach my evil being. I wait for the day is long, and relish in the night. You’ll see me soon. Everyone does sometime. I only ask you to scream, and fight when I come knocking on your door.

Cait Whisler

http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/death-deals-the-devil/
