The lake was still and calm <br />There was hardly a breeze <br />But something in the air <br />Gave a feeling of unease <br />There was the slightest ripple <br />As if the fish below <br />Were clearing out of the area <br />Panicked, hurrying to go <br /> <br />Then suddenly there’s movement <br />Pushing, barging, splashing <br />And breaking through the peace <br />A horrific object's crashing <br />The sight brought on great fear <br />Ladies screamed and children cried <br />And many ran as fast as they could <br />To get safely back inside <br />The vision was quite scarring <br />Disturbing and yet gripping <br />Then a young voice shouted out <br />“Mum, granddads skinny dipping”<br /><br />Flying Lemming<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/the-poem-a-day-project-day-198/
