‘What a piece of work is a man! ' <br />It rings down through aisles <br />And comes down through eons <br />Is there anything created so far <br />To supersede this great wonder? <br /> <br />From null and void, God willed life to emerge <br />It took six days for Him <br />To fabricate the whole of universe <br />On the sixth day He decided <br />To inhabit it with Man <br />Deeming him to be the crown of creation, <br />God wished Man to be in His own image <br />With much care He moulded a figure <br />Breathing life into it, He called him Adam <br /> <br />Born into the lap of loneliness <br />Adam paced restless up and down <br />God knew he badly needed a mate <br />And willed the solitary man, a companion <br />Nonpareil in beauty and grace, <br />God wanted her to be the marvel of marvels <br />With wonderful craftsmanship <br />God began working on His new creation <br />Adam, being the final draft <br />He now wanted to have His masterpiece! <br /> <br />Seeing God working overtime <br />The angels in Heaven came down. <br />Overwhelmed by awe and wonder <br />Rallying round Him, they asked in chorus
