I enjoyed life as a child, even though walking was a problem for me, <br />To play with board games, watch old movies, play hide and go see; <br />I remember mum would make picnic under the table each holiday, <br />Yeah! Those good old days were so great, that's what I say. <br /> <br />I enjoyed family life, when a family get together, oh what fun, <br />Aunties, uncles, cousins, grandpas, get outside in the sun; <br />Play a game of cricket, or footy, girls and boys together, <br />Yeah! What fun we saw and had, those days were better. <br /> <br />I enjoyed the times we travelled for a holiday away, <br />Traveling in the old Holden, to the beach each day we'd play; <br />Have fish n chips, and share with seagulls so many around, <br />Yeah! Those days on the beach. Or at the playground. <br /> <br />I enjoyed the old movies, of Shirley, and Danny Kaye too, <br />Francis the mule, Those comedies we enjoyed them its true; <br />We'd pretend we'd travel on a bus inside our bedroom to the country, <br />Yeah! We enjoyed those good days, 'twas great for my sister and me. <br /> <br />Then thinking as years gone by, kids now have things easy, <br />But things in the atmosphere isn't good, we get wheezy; <br />What has happened to days that were, now long gone, <br />Yeah!
