I am a hole in a sink. <br />I don’t care what people think. <br />Flushed with success and full of pride, <br />I swallow everything inside. <br />Hair, nail cuttings, toothpaste, spit and dirt too, <br />It may sound awful to some of you. <br />But then again I thank the person above it’s not worst, <br />I could be something you sit on when you’re about to burst. <br />I’m not a loo and therefore cannot complain. <br />You see everything you give me goes down the drain. <br />I know I’m going to get a lovely feast <br />when I see you wash your hands, face or feet. <br />So next time before you do just look into the hole and you might just see <br />something strange - what can that be? <br />A pair of red staring eyes, a dark furry face <br />whose teeth love chomping at your waste.<br /><br />JJ Evendon<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/sink-monster/
