I fear that this might be the end <br />Reaching for the root that holds in the tree <br />The one that will declare to send <br />Wicked doers and makers of evil deeds <br />My dear, the one I once loved, <br />I do not desire the punishment sentence. <br />They saw me and then judged <br />Without hesitation to say good riddance. <br />Should have always known <br />Could never make the right decisions <br />Thought we had grown <br />Was wrong, I only seek forgiveness. <br />The light cannot be found <br />Clouds hanging overhead darken the sky <br />And now the rope is bound <br />My love please remember me after I die <br />Forces begin to pull me down <br />Dropping down I see their faces staring <br />My heart begins to pound <br />They thought I’d never be so daring <br /> <br />I wake up and see the ceiling <br />Farther and farther it drifts away from me <br />Sinking down into the clearing <br />Formed under me and now I no longer see <br />Darkness is the only thing around <br />It is calling me, the light off in the distance <br />Now I hear a glorious sound <br />I now see the one that will give me forgiveness <br />I cannot reach him though <br />A source is pulling me away from my salvation <br />And now the darkness flows <br />Within the veins that once pumped my aggravation <br />My love why does this happen <br />Being a failure will never gather your attention <br />I’ll never escape this hell I’m trapped in <br />And will always have to carry the burden of my sentence.<br /><br />Lucas Carriger<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/kimberly-4/
