The comfort and ease of celebration, <br />That comes to comfort myths... <br />And a way of life, <br />Fragmented in its appeal. <br />Dances with an erasing purpose. <br /> <br />Standards are showing a fading quality. <br />And equality documented, <br />Seems less of an intention than what is meant. <br />Structured foundations and their sentiments, <br />Have lost pride. <br />Only gestures remain, <br />To market an effectiveness. <br /> <br />Recreational degradations... <br />Has a conformity parading malfunctions. <br />Dysfunctions are the normalcy. <br />And a common sense, <br />Has desolved in pretensions. <br /> <br />And yet those few with integrity, <br />Are losing a battle with disrespect. <br />Like an endangered sanity... <br />Once valued, <br />But few are witnessed to have that left!<br /><br />Lawrence S.
