Is there a hope to flee from hell? <br />Can we escape our past? <br />Can blood of Jesus make things well? <br />And set us free at last <br /> <br />Is not death’s curse still hanging high? <br />Harvesting night and day! <br />What hope is left the day we die? <br />When sin’s foul wage we pay <br /> <br />Surrender to The Truth that lives <br />Give in to hope supreme <br />Receive in faith what Heaven gives <br />From life’s eternal Stream <br /> <br />When turning our backs to wayward sin <br />Though heights we fail to climb <br />Life’s race by faith we all can win <br />And stand the test of time <br /> <br />Believing on The Father’s word <br />Christ Jesus came to save <br />We’ll prosper in facts we’ve heard <br />And surely see no grave <br /> <br />What else but love would pay the cost? <br />What else but love would try? <br />Who else would love the sick and lost? <br />And those condemned to die <br /> <br />Be one with God be one with Christ <br />Be of the chosen few <br />Believe in Jesus sacrificed <br />And drink of Heaven’s Dew <br /> <br />In truth life’s hope resides in death <br />Making election sure <br />Look forward to that final breath <br />Opening Heaven’s door<br /><br />Michael P.
