Friend, what’s life taught you to perceive? <br />What holds the grave in store? <br />What follows next do you believe? <br />Once life has closed the door <br /> <br />Do you perceive Christ Jesus real? <br />His resurrection true <br />His precious love His Holy Seal <br />And why He died for you <br /> <br />Do you perceive by faith to see <br />The living God to hear <br />Believe by grace He set you free <br />And take away your fear <br /> <br />Do you perceive the devil’s lost? <br />His kingdom’s crumbled down <br />That Jesus’ blood has paid the cost <br />For you to wear a crown <br /> <br />Is Christ perceived within your heart? <br />Healing your aching soul <br />Now promising He’ll never part <br />Until you’ve reached The Goal <br /> <br />Have you perceived The Truth to find? <br />Beyond life’s doubt and pain <br />The wondrous things God has in mind <br />Once Jesus comes again <br /> <br />Do you perceive the victory? <br />God’s Lamb came down to bring <br />Through even death you may agree <br />His praises ever sing <br /> <br />If you can answer yes dear friend <br />Perceiving birth anew <br />Then I perceive at life’s last bend <br />The Father waits for you<br /><br />Michael P.
