God in creating the universe <br />With the longing and the hopes <br />Evaporating into frustrations <br />Sighs incomparable and in the cosmos <br />The storm with words unable to express <br />In Gods great scheme and the idea <br />Sketches innumerable <br />Or a single word <br />Be <br />And all was <br />And all is <br />The creation has not come to an end <br />Except that the God shall will it one moment <br />With the doomsdays destruction <br />While in the making <br />The agony and the ecstasy <br />The cosmic pain and the cosmic joy <br />Divine in interpretation <br />Creation ultimately <br />I bring at arms length <br />Hold it down on the tip of my finger <br />The magicians blow of air into that distance <br />No balm shall cure the wounds that I have suffered <br />In the creations discovery of the things <br />Unnamable for so many more <br />Shall name them as they wish <br />Move the earth into heavens distant infinities <br />God’s revelations coming to us <br />Explaining the infinite truths <br />O reason guide me <br />Guide me into this maze <br />Thou art so limited <br />In my comprehension <br />I fail to understand <br />The grand design <br />In separation I shall understand <br />Or in ultimate union I shall discover <br />But will my pain and anguish <br />Be over at that time <br />I pray thee O God <br />At that moment rest me in peace <br />Wash my memory <br />Of the sufferings here <br />The mused beauties <br />Open thy doors <br />Of paradise as I know of it <br />As my eternal abode<br /><br />Sadiqullah Khan<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/creation-27/
