Though some people do not believe in live and let live <br />Those who have sinned against us we must try to forgive <br />For any grudges you bear causes spiritual decay <br />And eats the compassion that is in you away, <br />To forgive in some cases is not an easy thing <br />But peace of mind and soul to you it will bring <br />The grudge that you bear into bitterness grow <br />The cause of your anger you have to let go <br />Of and get on with your life and regain your peace of mind <br />In the act of forgiveness one only does find <br />A new lightness of being and more light in your soul <br />Hanging on to a grudge of your nerves does take toll <br />And though some do not believe on to live and let live <br />For your own sake those who have sinned against you perhaps you should forgive.<br /><br />Francis Duggan<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/though-some-people/
