You say your god is the one true god of that how would you know <br />For that your god is the one true god what proof have you to show <br />If others say their god is the one true god does that mean they are wrong? <br />If there is any god at all to god all does belong <br />Apart from Nature i do not believe in a god does this mean i am bad <br />Or that I'm one of the Earthly damned or in some way strange or mad? <br />Those without visible proof who believe in god must be greater than me <br />I look towards the sky for signs of god but clouds i only see <br />But mine just the opinions of a misguided one <br />Who will not be remembered for anything good he has done <br />A cynical old fellow who questions almost everything <br />'Tis only of the Nature Goddess he only ever sing <br />And when you say your god is the one true god that is your point of view <br />But why condemn those who believe quite differently to you.<br /><br />Francis Duggan<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/you-say-your-god/
