She broke my heart and soul deeply within me <br />Ripping my life in pieces and burning it into sheer dust <br />Told me to leave her life for happiness and freedom <br />What happiness will bring us if our love bond <br />Is gone, broken and shattered until non-existence <br />Seeing that day one was our love of destiny at first sight <br />Knowing that I needed you in my life forever and always <br />It was like I saw my true goddess with no flaws included <br />But now my soul is as a black hole devouring several planets <br /> <br />Life changing from feeling so high up to the heavens <br />But now feeling I took a one way trip to the entrapped flames <br />Scorching my picture in my golden locket in my mind and spirit <br />Love betrayed me, lust controlled my actions, and lastly…. <br />Hate walks with his minions like love doubts and disturbing nightmares <br /> <br />Where do I really go from here… the bullet to the head to forget? <br />Poison to the veins as they blacken and darken into the forbidden shadows? <br />Roam the streets of lost lives consuming my body with their thrills of alcohol and drugs? <br />Repeating the same quote in my brain thousand times to comprehend this <br />“You don’t need me in your life…“you’ll be happy without me” <br /> <br />Seeing you do this to me is sheer cold hearten and cruel to me <br />Now the nightlife would be my escape from this heartbreak and misery <br />Let me find some peace in my drunken driving experience over to this cliff <br />Seeing my life flash before my eyes, watching death in his eyes <br />With a life hourglass at hand telling that my lifespan has depleted <br />As my life ends here…so my love for my only lover in this world <br />Swear to never say her name as she is dead to me like my last heartbeat <br />As I would say where we go from here… but all I can say now is... <br />Where do I go from here…?<br /><br />Compton Wright<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/where-we-go-from-here/
