Rain lashed out with lighting and thunder for two days! <br />Then there was no rain but clouds were moving in the sky. <br />People going to the beach carried umbrellas with them; <br />After a day believing there won’t be rain went Scot-free! <br /> <br />Many groups of people regularly come and talk for hours <br />Making beach a pastime club rather than a walking place <br />And make disturbances to peace loving calm people there! <br />Nature played a game to teach them all a lesson forever! <br /> <br />After a walk I sat in my usual place for 10 minute rest there; <br />A group of people talking at high pitch were without umbrellas; <br />A slight drizzle provoked them to get up and hurry for home; <br />Then the falling dropp of rain stopped and I started home. <br /> <br />But seeing no heavy rain other groups again started talking <br />When I reached the other end again rain started to fall…. <br />All the groups rushed out to home without anyone sitting there; <br />Again the rain stopped and I had a small snack before return! <br /> <br />After a 5 minute halt I started walking home without umbrella; <br />Everywhere the roads and pavements were clean due to rain; <br />Everything looked clean and orderly without govt. cleaning daily! <br />When I just entered my home heavy rain fell down like hell long!<br /><br />Ramesh T A<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/a-play-of-rain/
