Clouds cover canvas of sky with darkness; <br />Greenhouse effect perhaps fills the world! <br />No sign of monsoon rain seems to ease.... <br />The angst of men feeling drought very hard! <br /> <br />Ice melts on whole of Green Land says TV news; <br />Water level of seas is increasing every year....! <br />Due to heat water of seas too sure evaporates; so, <br />Dry lands of agriculture people sell as plots sure! <br /> <br />Prices of commodities increase as a result of all things <br />Making men feel much heat not due to sun but food! <br />Oil and gold have taken flight to the sky in rates; <br />But food grain too how can take such a flight, mind! <br /> <br />Only if Sky cries with rain Earth can smile ever <br />With rich crops to feed her children full sure....!<br /><br />Ramesh T A<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/a-cry-of-nature/
