One day, as I sat, <br />a pain whelled up in my chest. <br />I thought my heart was going to bust, <br />with this pain that eminated from my breast. <br /> <br />But strangely, as I felt this pain, <br />I didn't want it to go away. <br />And for a reason I couldn't explain, <br />joy made its way through my soul to stay. <br /> <br />And suddenly it hit me, <br />as I sat there that day. <br />That love was the reason, <br />that I felt this pain. <br /> <br />As I had looked into my beloved's eyes, <br />the love had surely grown, <br />until my poor heart couldn't take it. <br />Thus, the pain had shown. <br /> <br />And as I go through the years, <br />I'll beg God over and over again, <br />to send more love to me. <br />For any pain I have, <br />Is nothing to the cause at hand.<br /><br />kimber harrison<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/love-s-pain-2/
