Memories of spent days <br />have risen <br />like the bird Phoenix <br />from the cinnamon ashes of my past… <br /> <br />Your musky memories rise <br />with the smiling morning sun <br />to follow me in the hot afternoons of my life, <br />I make you fly like a kite <br />in the vast expanse of cloudless sky. <br />like blue smoke ascending from <br />the half-burnt autumn leaves. <br /> <br />I nest your shadow in the cage of my carnivorous cravings <br />to quench the thirsty summers of my body! <br />My libidinous thoughts inseminate you, clandestinely… <br />You want me, as I want you! <br />Greedily gulping the passion wine <br />from our lusty golden goblets <br />we get intoxicated in our silvery body fluids! <br /> <br />Our gleaming eyes carry a reflection <br />of that iridescent horizon, <br />where our liquids and libido copulated… <br />The twinkling stars impishly wink at the love-marks <br />tattooed on our uncovered bodies, <br />Shimmering shadows dance in the light <br />of the flickering flames of scented candles! <br /> <br />Together, we chase the seven-horsed chariot, <br />feeling weary I droop to deep sleep, <br />and wake up to realise, <br />it was only a day dream… <br /> <br />Copyright ©2008 Bharat B.
