I wasn’t sure what happened next <br />But everything went black <br />I was falling and I didn’t know if I could ever get back up <br />Eventually I found a soft light and went to it <br />When I came too it was my blue eyed aunt <br />She told me I was in terrible danger <br />I had just had a seizure <br />And the doctors couldn’t figure out the cause of it <br />And my parents were outside talking to him now <br />Soft tears fell down her cheeks when she was done <br />I didn’t know I was crying till a tear fell on my lips <br />She kept giving me this look <br />And I knew she was dying to ask why <br />But I couldn’t give her an answer <br />All I could do was hang my head in shame <br />It took me weeks to perfect the look <br />Of someone who wasn’t dying on the inside <br />And it all crumbled when I took it too far <br />My parents came in and told me I needed to get some rest <br />But I knew as long as I was like this <br />I would never rest<br /><br />Payyton Egerstaffer<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/fight-for-my-life-pt2/
