Suicide its something I haven't thought of before, <br />People say it releases your pain, <br />I didn't know before but I think they might be right. <br />I decided I wanted to end my life, <br />After all I wasn't taking a life away <br />I was simply giving it back.....Wasn't I? <br />This is my experience <br /> <br />I watch the crimson tears start to fall, <br />As my skin parts like lips, <br />For the cool blade to kiss my veins, <br />I look in the mirror and find myself crying, <br />Why is that? <br />This is what I wanted, <br /> <br />To leave the world because I felt unwanted by all those I wanted. <br />As the blade bites deeper I start to feel dizzy. <br />My parents walk in, <br />Ashamed of what they see, <br />All I can think of is, <br />Why would they turn their backs on me? <br />Why would they blame me for everything? <br />This is what they wanted, <br />This is how they wanted me.<br /><br />Linda Brooks<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/suicide-260/
