If you meant to add to this pain I'm feeling, <br />Then your arrows hit their mark! <br /> <br />If you were aiming not to hit me, <br />You've missed and struck me in my heart! <br /> <br />If your words were meant to comfort, <br />You had them scrambled up somehow. <br /> <br />For the pain of everyone of them, <br />Is still felt deep in me somehow. <br /> <br />One day you too may feel this pain, <br />And I pray that you do not, <br />Where someone comes with not comfort bring, <br />And their meaness makes their mark. <br /> <br />Would it have been so hard for you to say, <br />'I am sorry for your loss?
