I've noticed that there are a lot of old folks <br />who sleep with their mouths open wide! <br />Pulling in all, that maybe might just be flying by. <br /> <br />While seen lying on a sofa <br />or reclining in an easy chair! <br />Would someone please let me know <br />just why it is, I even seem to care? <br /> <br />And why do old people always have to belch and fart? <br />Never really having that problem when they were young! <br />It would have been considered an anomaly of sorts! <br />if one let gas out, if not just done in fun! <br /> <br />Would someone please tell me why? <br />Is this what I could be looking forwards to, or expect? <br />When old and gray will I too act this way? <br />Does aging have on everyone, this ill effect? <br /> <br />I'd rather not be looked by others this way! <br />with my mouth driveling and open wide! <br />Pulling in my surroundings with one deep snorting sound! <br />And pushing air out of all my openings insides!<br /><br />Linda Winchell<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/would-someone-tell-me-why/
