“Heart Of Peace I’m Searching For” <br /> <br />There is a, ” Heart of peace I am searching for” <br />To ease and take away this pain in which resides. <br />I try to place it all into words in poems. <br />But the pain seems, not too easily to subside. <br /> <br />The loss I feel is more than words can say <br />But I write them down somehow, anyway. <br />In hopes this will unburden from me <br />This pain that resides, from this loss, you see? <br /> <br />I pray to, ”You Oh God “, that I will soon not feel <br />What in my heart and that of others <br />Is now so real. <br /> <br />So young was he, to have been taken away <br />Why couldn’t, ”You my Lord”, just let him stay? <br />I know I should not question in Him <br />What I feel inside, to be my weakened doubt of sin. <br /> <br />Please forgive me Lord <br />but this pain I feel is real. <br />And it tugs at my joy <br />This sin now tries to steal. <br /> <br />I would ask one favor of You, ” My Lord” <br />That you give me, this” Heart of peace I’m looking for.” <br />And I will try, with all the Love I have in You <br />To not search for Your peace, you needn’t give no more.<br /><br />Linda Winchell<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/heart-of-peace-i-m-searching-for/
