I’ve not been feeling, good as I should <br />Don’t really know the reasons why. <br />I go to bed feeling sick at night <br />And feel the same upon my rise. <br /> <br />Maybe I should go visit the doctor? <br />Now would that be money that well spent? <br />All they seem to do is guess at things <br />Don’t need someone’s guess, to circumvent! <br /> <br />I think I’ll do this one on my own <br />Doctor, what illness I seem to somehow posses. <br />And pray that God will take care of me <br />Or just take me to my final rest. <br /> <br />Don’t mean to sound so morbid <br />Was not, my intention at all. <br />But death is the other side of living <br />And I have not done my death at all. <br /> <br />My life was not how long I’ve lived <br />But in the, “LIFE” I had lived. <br />How much of me I had given to others <br />And how generously to all, I did. <br /> <br />If it be my time to leave this world <br />I won’t be taking a good look back. <br />For my road ahead was paved with gold for me <br />Now what do you think of that? <br /> <br />By: Linda Winchell <br />Copyright: 2009<br /><br />Linda Winchell<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/not-feeling-good-as-i-should/
