Waiting for a day that will never arrive, <br />Living a dream - keeping alive. <br /> <br /> 'Time' is so perfect, somewhere in space. <br />There you are, I can see your face. <br /> <br />I live in a place that's just a dream, <br />Abiding in two places as it would seem. <br /> <br />Which one is real, where am I heading? <br />Choices to make with no regretting. <br /> <br />Chasing a dream within my skull. <br />Jousting of two worlds - one must fall! <br /> <br />Falling from this world, where would I land, <br />Within His grace or struggling quicksand? <br /> <br />Grace is there and free to all, <br />But who among us hears His call? <br /> <br />The dream is real, at heavens gate, <br />The illusion is life - believing what ain't. <br /> <br />Yes, I abide in this world of not, <br />Searching out mystries - Which (now) you'v got. <br /> <br />Sweetie, don't give up on dear old dad, <br />My heart keeps breaking, each day - so sad.<br /><br />Keith Foley<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/abiding-2/
