As he was sleeping in his bed <br />he heard the voice of Jesus say: <br />'Come oh come to Heaven ~ <br />come hither thou today'. <br /> <br />So he travelled through the Tunnel <br />till a bright light he could see, <br />again he heard a sweet voice saying <br />'come hither thou with me'. <br /> <br />He came upon a heavenly land <br />where milk and honey flow <br />and he met the folk he loved <br />from so many years ago. <br /> <br />And the music swelled about him <br />minuets and choruses grand <br />and he saw the great composers <br />resting in this wonderland. <br /> <br />Choirs of voices, hymns were singing <br />and words of happiness they told, <br />for he was with a band of Angels <br />stepping through the gates of gold.<br /><br />Joyce Hemsley<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/gates-of-gold/
