I sit in the stillness contemplating the quiet night. <br />Alone in the misty moonlight, <br />The stars whispering dreams in my ear as they kiss my brow with twinkling abandon. <br /> <br />Love. <br />He is there in the mist. <br />Slowly approaching with a determined glint. <br />I reach out to him and he for me. <br />Our bodies entwine softly in unison. <br /> <br />Secrets shared together as we begin to waltz. <br />The music envelopes and stretches time. <br />On and on we dance to an age old rhyme. <br />The dance is nothing more than a floating caress. <br /> <br />Gliding with one another. <br />Reaching, searching, grasping for the highest peak. <br />The rhythm becomes faster. <br />Swirling into an earth shattering crash, as together we reach that ultimate precipiece at long last. <br /> <br />Replete and boneless I lay there awhile. <br />Slowly the Dawn starts to turn the night sky to a soft shade of coral. <br />My whispering friends twinkle one last kiss as I open my eyes. <br />Smiling to my self I sigh, as I awake to understand. <br />Twas only a dream.
